We are looking for Student Recruitment Officer

Job Title: Student Recruitment Officer

About EU Network

We are a UK-based education consultancy committed to helping individuals from both Europe and beyond start or continue their studies in the UK. With extensive experience in university admissions and student recruitment, we offer tailored support throughout the entire application process from selecting the right course to enrolment. Our goal is to make UK higher education accessible and achievable by providing clear guidance, personalised advice, and ongoing support suited to each applicant’s unique background and ambitions.

About the Role

We are looking for a Student Recruitment Officer to join our international student recruitment team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive mindset. You will play a key part in supporting individuals during the pre-application stage by offering advice, encouragement, and practical support to help them make informed decisions about studying in the UK. This includes recommending suitable courses, helping choose the right university, explaining the application process, addressing concerns, and providing clear, empathetic guidance throughout the decision-making journey. The role also involves assisting applicants in preparing the documents required for their application. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both collaboratively within a team and independently when needed, showing flexibility in adapting to shared workflows and finding personalised solutions for unique or unexpected situations. This position requires fluency in both Polish and English. Knowledge of an additional language from Central or Eastern Europe would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

You will serve as the first point of contact for applicants and prospective students, offering clear, friendly, and informative responses to questions about studying in the UK. You will provide personalised guidance and encouragement to individuals exploring study options, helping them understand the UK university system and select the most suitable courses and institutions. You will assist applicants in gathering and preparing the necessary documents for their university applications. You will respond to inquiries through phone, email, and messaging platforms promptly and professionally, while also maintaining accurate records of interactions and applicant progress in the CRM system. A key part of the role includes following up with individuals who are undecided or need additional support, offering tailored solutions that reflect their circumstances. You will work closely with other members of the recruitment and admissions team to track progress and contribute to improving communication strategies. You will also be expected to share insights about recurring applicant needs or concerns to help enhance our services. Occasionally, you may participate in online or in-person outreach activities such as open days, webinars, or information sessions. This position requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to contribute ideas and take ownership when faced with new or complex challenges.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who speaks fluent Polish and has excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in an additional Central or Eastern European language is desirable. You should be empathetic, approachable, and comfortable engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, as is a proactive and confident attitude when following up with applicants and keeping them informed. You should be comfortable using digital tools such as email, spreadsheets, and other standard communication platforms. Previous experience in customer service, student support, or recruitment would be an advantage. Familiarity with the higher education systems in the UK and the EU, as well as experience working in a multicultural or multilingual environment, are also desirable. A collaborative mindset and experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot would further strengthen your application.

What We Offer

You will be joining a small, friendly team that genuinely cares about the people we support and the work we do. We foster an environment that is open, honest, and focused on helping others. You can expect to work with a welcoming, down-to-earth group that values clear communication and a sense of humour. This is a part-time position offering up to 30 hours per week with flexibility around working hours. The starting pay is £15 per hour, with the possibility of increases based on experience and performance. We also offer performance-based bonuses to recognise and reward your contribution. Our hybrid working model allows you to combine remote work with in-person collaboration at our office in the City of London. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally through training, mentoring, and by taking on new responsibilities. Most importantly, your work will have a real impact as you will be helping individuals take life-changing steps in their educational journey. We value initiative and welcome your input as we continue to improve our services. We do not believe in micromanagement and trust you to manage your workload in a way that suits your style. Even when working remotely, we stay connected through regular team check-ins and offer ongoing support. If you enjoy engaging with people directly, you will also have the chance to take part in events such as open days or webinars.
